Cherry Dale
Senior Vice President Financial Education
During her 17 years at Virginia Credit Union, Cherry has developed and laid the groundwork for the financial success team. As a Certified Teacher with a Master's in Education, Cherry has robust experience helping learners of all ages be the best they can be. Under her direction, our financial education programs reach over 100,000 annually.

Chris Woodbury
Program Manager
Chris has 30 years of banking and financial experience and an impressive 25-year-long career with Virginia Credit Union. Always wearing a smile, Chris loves creating relationships with people and encouraging them to achieve and succeed in their goals. He’s excited to continue to empower our members, community, and local school systems, recognizing it’s never too early or late to achieve financial health.

Sabrina Guerin, CCUFC
Adult Education
Sabrina is passionate about enriching the lives in her community and giving people the support they need to reach their financial goals. With ten years of financial education experience, Sabrina is a certified financial counselor through the Credit Union National Association and holds her MBA from The College of William and Mary. To Sabrina, being financially confident starts with having the right skills and tools to make smart financial decisions. Sabrina is a creative person at heart, and in her free time loves being with her family and and fur baby, as well as volunteering and serving on the School of Professional and Continuing Studies Alumni Association Board at the University of Richmond.

Monica Van Arsdale, AFC®
Grades 9-12 & Young Adults
Monica brings a refreshing, honest, and relatable voice to money management. With over 15 years of personal financial education experience, Monica meets people wherever they are on their financial journey. She is a licensed educator who has previously served on the Virginia Department of Education’s curriculum review committee for Economics and Personal Finance and currently serves on the board of the Virginia Jump$tart Coalition for Financial Literacy. As a former public school teacher and lifelong Virginia resident, Monica is committed to helping members and the community build a brighter tomorrow.

Tori Filas
PreK - Grade 8
With 27 years in education under her belt, Tori Filas is an accomplished teacher passionate about helping students make intelligent decisions while spending, saving, and managing their money. Her lessons range from elementary basics to middle school concepts, each centered around Virginia's SOLs for economics and personal finance. For Tori, financial success for students should be realistic and attainable, no matter their background.
