Virginia Credit Union Helps History Come Alive

Originally built in 1925, The Hotel Weyanoke was a prominent fixture in downtown Farmville for more than 50 years. The hotel closed its doors in the 1980s when it became student housing for Longwood University.

Now, work to restore the historic beauty of the original hotel has been completed by The Hotel Weyanoke LLC, a business services member of VACU. The boutique hotel features a rooftop bar, two restaurants, a coffee shop, and 70 guest rooms.
